Slitting & rewinding is the process of dividing a parent roll of non-woven into rolls of different widths, while conserving a long length.
Unwinding & rewinding is mandatory for executing a slitting & rewinding : for unwinding and rewinding the spool at the decided length.
On roll slitting is slitting the non-woven roll at the desired width.
Spooling is a process by which a strip of flexible material is specifically wound side-to-side across the width of a mandrel to form layers.
By using spooling, the total format change time can be reduced by a factor of up to 20, which improves the productivity of the production line.
We create a precise shape on a non-woven to be cut / Tailor made loose pieces or in rolls with trimming.
